Modern dating can be stressful. It can be a great challenge to balance maintaining friendships while looking for romance. This is what protagonist of “Significant Other,” Jordan Berman, faces as he goes through life in New York City in his late 20s. Written by Joshua Harmon (“Bad Jews”) and originally premiering as an off-Broadway play in 2015, the play has been well received among critics and general audience alike. It made the New York Times Top Ten Productions in the same year and premiered on Broadway two years later.

Auditions at Behrend will be held Tues. Sept. 4 and 5 at 6pm in the Studio Theatre.
