In 2004, Panic! at the Disco was formed by members Brendon Urie, Ryan Ross, Spencer Smith, and Brent Wilson. Since the group's formation, and over the course of fourteen years, several guitarists, bassists, and drummers have come and gone, leaving Brendon Urie to be the last original member remaining. However, the band has still managed to prosper, despite the most recent incident involving guitarist Kenneth Harris.

On September 20th, 2018, Twitter user @donasnooze, also known as Ashley, posted a thread detailing her interactions with Harris from 2016 and onward. It was there that Ashley described her several experiences with Harris, mentioning that the two had exchanged Snapchat usernames and communicated through both the chat and photo features. Ashley, sixteen and a minor at the time, was asked by Harris to send explicit photos of herself in exchange for being thrown a guitar pick at the Panic! concert that Ashley was to attend.

Ashley went on to actually detail her experience using Twitter's thread feature, saying that "[Harris] agreed [to throw a guitar pick], but only if I'd send him a 'pic' first. Me being the dumb 16-year-old that I was at the time, asked him 'what kind of pic,' hoping he just wanted another selfie (not that that's any better) but nope. He replies back, 'surprise me.' So, my ... 16-year-old self decided to play along, and I go, 'If I send you a picture now, you'll forget about me by the time of the concert in July!!' to which he replies with 'Well, if you keep sending [the pictures], I won't.' So, I ended up agreeing but always put it off whenever he'd ask. I wasn't gonna actually send him anything. There was no way."

To make matters worse, following Ashley's initial statement, other Twitter users began to share their similar experiences with Harris. Through displaying several screenshots of her direct messages, Ashley showed readers the similar accounts made by others. A user who wished to remain anonymous recounted a time where Harris had asked for photos of her when she was thirteen. Twitters users @khaIidvevo and @spideyshuri also posted similar accounts, sharing actual screenshots and their whole story through the notes app and other means on their phones. Both users have claimed that Harris asked them for pictures on Snapchat as well. "Vicesdad" on Instagram, who is also @khaIidvevo, offered further evidence by posting a screen recorded video of their saved Snapchat conversations with Harris. Exclaim!, a monthly Canadian music magazine, provides one of the most detailed accounts of the entire incident, providing links and screenshots to the evidence provided.

That said, it did not take the band long to discover the Twitter thread and act appropriately. On September 22nd, 2018, Panic! at the Disco's official Twitter released a statement saying that "Touring musician Kenny Harris will no longer be performing with us because of a personal matter." Harris had been the guitarist for live performances since 2013. While both the band and fans have acknowledged and addressed the allegations, Kenneth Harris has seemed to disappear.

Despite this occurrence, Panic! at the Disco is continuing with their scheduled Pray for the Wicked tour, which is ongoing and continues well into March 2019. If there is one thing Brendon Urie knows how to do, it's how to put on a show despite the loss of several band members.
