The girl on fire received lots of heated backlash from viewers while she strutted down the red carpet on February 20.

While in London, Jennifer Lawrence was seen in a very low-cut, revealing dress during the premiere of the new movie “Red Sparrow.” The event occured in London’s Corinthia Hotel and spotlighted the new espionage thriller.

The cold afternoon in London was observed by many as Lawrence’s co-stars posed for a photo next to her while wearing heavy winter coats. Lawrence is seen in many photos without a coat and rocking a black Versace dress with a plunging neckline and hip-high slit.

Many viewers responded to this action with negativity towards her wardrobe choice and were wondering why she was not adorned with a coat in such cold weather.
The actress responded by stating that she was only outside for a mere five minutes and was appalled by the reactions towards her outfit. Although this actress is known to rebut most comments made to her, she responded with a long Twitter post stating that these responses to her dress are “sexist” and “utterly ridiculous.” She states, “It’s creating silly distractions from real issues. Get a grip people. Everything you see is my choice.”
Although Lawrence received lots of backlash for her choice of dress, she still made a memorable appearance. It’s seen through Twitter that this girl is laying down JLaw.
