Tomi Lahren's FINAL thoughts

Tomi Lahren and her “final thoughts” are FINALLY over. Tomi Lahren has been suspended, and furthermore, permanently banned from TheBlaze. I’ll admit to my bias that I do not like Lahren and I was far from a fan. Speaking of fans, I’m not really sure who really is a fan of her, or rather, who was a fan. Regardless of the fact that Tomi is still receiving her agreed upon paycheck as stated in her contract, she claims that she has been “terminated” and ultimately “fired” due to the fact that she stated she was “not doing what I was contracted to do, which was produce a television show, a political talk show.”

A little bit of backstory on the matter: Tomi Lahren had been a guest star on “The View” where she had expressed personal pro-choice beliefs that had dramatically clashed with previous beliefs she had portrayed on her own show, “Final Thoughts with Tomi Lahren.” Following this, her show was suspended.

Tomi Lahren is suing TheBlaze and her former boss, Glenn Beck, for “wrongful termination.” TheBlaze’s response? “It is puzzling that an employee who remains under contract (and is still being paid) has sued us for being fired, especially when we continue to comply fully with the terms of our agreement with her.” Tomi admits to still accepting paychecks, but continues nonetheless, claiming her “suspension” was a “clear attempt to embarrass, humiliate and undermine” her. “After my appearance on ‘The View,’ I saw a lot of commentary on Twitter and other platforms, but I wasn’t allowed to respond to those. I was silenced,” she said. “Now, I don’t have a problem with free speech, but free speech and silencing your opposition, boy, I have a problem with that.”

Now, here’s a few of my final thoughts on Tomi Lahren and the situation as a whole. First of all, Tomi, when it comes to humiliating and undermining, TheBlaze, if anything, did the exact opposite by suspending your embarrassment of a show. While you claim to be all for “free speech,” through your words and actions, you bluntly portrayed proved otherwise as you would obnoxiously trash anyone who used their voice to sing a song that didn't harmonize well with your own. In regards to you claiming to be “silenced,” it’s honestly disgusting. You still have the same exact ability to say whatever you want, with or without your show. No one is punishing you. Nothing is preventing you from saying whatever you want. You are not in the least bit “silenced,” and claiming to be is an insult to those who actually are. In a way, your claim is almost ironic considering you bashed down any minority that tried to speak up. You still have your voice, the only difference now is the amount of people it is reaching, but really, who’s fault is that? You can blame TheBlaze, saying that canceling your show has silenced you, but the simple fact is no one wants to listen anymore.
