Food Truck Review

Penn State Behrend was first within the Penn State system to bring an exciting new way to grab lunch on the go to campus. They introduced this semester a food truck called the The Clipper that provides students with a variety of different foods for breakfast, lunch and late night.

Personally, I think it was a great idea to bring something different to campus. I have never been a fan on the food on campus and only purchased it if I was starving and forgot to bring something. Even then, I try to stay safe with the kind of food I get from the other places on campus.

My favorite option from the food truck would be the chicken and waffles. I think that the sandwich is a little big for one person and hard to bite down on because of width, but I am not going to complain about too much food for the price. If you do get it though, make sure to ask for syrup drizzled over top because the waffles can be a little dry at times.

They also have a signature burger that oozes with cheese and causes a big mess, but really is really good. They have plenty of drink options, much like at Bruno’s and a place under the window for snacks and candy on the go.

One of the best things about the food truck is the huge portions given for the price. It is so easy to stop by the truck on your way to class or home and grab food during your busy day. I think Penn State Behrend did a great job with making the food truck different than the rest of the food options on campus and I believe that it will only continue to get better over time.
