Gun ownership must remain intact

Stephen Paddock’s father Benjamin Paddock was a known bank robber and criminal around the 1960’s, who also was barely around as Stephen grew up. Stephen was raised in a poor family and was the eldest of his three other brothers. As he got older he got into real estate, where later his youngest brother, Eric became his business partner. Many of the resident’s reviews is that he was a good landlord. Even his family was shocked by his behavior of the shooting.

According to NYTimes.com, he was diagnosed with psychopathy with possible suicidal tendencies.

On people.com, they state he was on valium, and that the psychopathic gene was transferred to him by his father.

They also write, “This gene can cause extreme violence in an individual.” John Kelly, a criminal profiler, agrees.

Stephen’s girlfriend, Marilou Danley, left to visit her family in the Philippines around the time of the massacre with tickets provided by Paddock.  Marilou admits to knowing nothing of the crime.

Like John Kelly asks on people.com, “what would drive somebody that is so methodical and structured in life to go insane in a very structured and methodical way?”

Many of you will blame his mental health, but very low incidents of violence are related to mental health, to be more technical it is less than five percent. Banning people with depression and BPD, PTSD, etc., with no criminal regard would be un-American. Unfortunately you can not stop every crime even if we wanted to.

No one could have seen this coming. So what do I think regarding the gun laws? The second amendment gives us the right to bear arms. We deserve to protect ourselves from people like Paddock, and we HAVE that right!

Whatever motive this guy had does not even matter. He was a monster and there is nothing that could justify his actions. No drug, no disease forces you to do anything such as what he had. He had to of had this feeling inside him of wanting to do it.

With all this access to everything on the internet. it places ideas in many people’s minds. Such as things to shop for, which social site to join, etc. But there are also dark things you can view like beheadings, porn sex with everything, and the horrible list goes on and on and kids even as young as five have all this information at their fingertips. This could mess anyone up psychologically.

Unfortunately something triggered this man to do what he did, but it has no baring on the innocent gun owners of America. This is a free country and the day you take gun ownership away is the day this is not America.
